Omaha National Group announces additions of four new members to its Board of Directors

– USA, NE –  Omaha National Group, Inc., a leading tech-enabled provider of workers’ compensation insurance and payroll services, today announced the additions of four new directors to its board to guide the company’s growth.

The newly appointed board members bring deep insurance, technology, and financial markets expertise to Omaha National as the company advances its market positioning and capabilities for small and midsize businesses across America. Last month, Omaha National announced it closed a $45 million Series B round led by Accomplice to propel its transition to a full-stack carrier and to advance the expansion of the company’s proprietary software.

“Coming off our successful Series B round, our expanded board reflects the business we have become and the path we are charting to sustainable, long-term growth,” said CEO, Reagan Pufall. “Our directors’ experience in guiding high growth companies is extensive, and their expertise will be a vital asset as we keep technology and service central to our offering.”

The new directors are:

  • Beth Boucher, Former SVP & CIO, SiriusPoint
  • Nick Davies, Operating Partner, Agman; Former President Brit Americas and Chair Brit USA and Bermuda
  • Joyce Johnson-Miller, Chairman & Chief Investment Officer, Pacific Gate Capital
  • Ryan Moore, Co-founder, Accomplice

The four new directors join existing board members:

  • Geoff Banta, former COO, President, and CFO of Amerisafe;
  • Dennis Chookaszian, former Chairman and CEO of CNA Insurance Companies;
  • Reagan Pufall, President and CEO of Omaha National;
  • Scott Silverman, Founder, and CEO of Agman;
  • Jeremy Smith, COO, and Principal of Agman.
