Old Mutual welcomes Busisiwe Silwanyana and Jurie Strydom to its Board as Independent Directors

– SOUTH AFRICA, Johannesburg –  Old Mutual Limited (JSE: OMU | LON: OMU) today announced the appointment of Busisiwe Silwanyana and Jurie Strydom to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Directors following regulatory approvals received on 4 December 2023.

They both will join the Actuarial, Audit, and Risk committees.

About Busisiwe Silwanyana

Busi Silwanyana (CA)SA holds a BCom (Financial Accounting), BCom (Hons), and Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from Durham University in the United Kingdom, and is a member of The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

About Johann (Jurie) Strydom

Jurie Strydom holds a BBusSc (Hons) from the University of Cape Town in Actuarial Science, is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the United Kingdom, a CFA charter holder from the CFA Institute in the United States, and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan Fellow).
