About Ellen Ochoa
Ellen Ochoa was the former director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, and the first Latina astronaut in space. She holds a B.S. in physics from San Diego State University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University. She also serves on the boards of directors of Service Corporation International, where she is chair of the compensation committee and serves on the investment committee, and of Mutual of America Financial Group, where she is on the nominating committee and product and marketing committee.
