– FINLAND, Oulu – Nukute Oy today announced the appointment of Matti Lehtonen as CEO, effective February 1st, 2022.

About Matti E. Lehtonen
Matti brings to Nukute a wealth of experience in medical technology and building and managing businesses and organizations with global reach. Matti joins us after 14 years with GE Healthcare where he served as the General Manager of GE’s global Anesthesia and Respiratory Care business, and from 2016 also as the Chairman of the Board of GE Healthcare Finland. Before GE, Matti worked in a variety of leadership positions in healthcare, wellness, electronics manufacturing, and renewable energy, covering the whole value chain from technology and product development to manufacturing to sales and marketing.
A native of Finland, Matti has spent over 30 years of his career in China and speaks eight languages, including Chinese, French, and Portuguese. Matti holds an MSc degree in Computer Science and Manufacturing Management from Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University) and he studied at Peking University, Department of Chinese Language and Literature, majoring in modern Chinese grammar. In his free time, Matti is a passionate baroque musician and an avid juggler.
