North American Income Trust announces John Adebiyi to join its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Edinburgh –  The North American Income Trust plc (LON: NAIT) announced the appointment of John Adebiyi to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 1 October 2025.

“The Directors and I are delighted to welcome John to the Board. He brings world-class legal and corporate experience, an excellent understanding of the North American and UK commercial and regulatory environments, and knowledge of the investment trust sector. The diversity of his experience will enhance the Board.” said Board chairman, Charles Park.

John Adebiy will also join the Audit, Nominations, and Management Engagement Committees.

About John Adebiy

John Adebiy was previously a partner at the New York-headquartered law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he worked in international corporate finance, led the Hong Kong office for two years, and founded and led Skadden’s UK National Security and Investment practice. He was responsible for the successful execution of numerous high-profile and complex cross-border and domestic transactions in a wide range of industries and geographies. He earlier worked at Credit Suisse Financial Products and qualified as a solicitor with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

John Adebiy is currently Chair of Impact X Capital Partners, a venture capital firm, and a non-executive director of Control Risks International Limited, a global specialist risk consultancy.
