Nestlé nominates Geraldine Matchett for election to its Board as Independent Director

– SWITZERLAND, Vevey –  Nestlé (SWX: NESN / LON: 0QR4, ) today announced the nomination of Geraldine Matchett for her election to its Board as an Independent Director at the AAGM on April 18, 2024.

“We are pleased to propose Geraldine Matchett as new Board member. Her extensive experience as a CEO and long-time CFO will contribute significantly to the Board’s strategic, operational and financial expertise.” said Board Chairman, Paul Bulcke.

Henri de Castries and Kimberly Ross will not stand for re-election to the Board of Directors.

Geraldine Matchett, a Swiss, British, and French citizen, has relevant industry experience as well as a strong track record in general corporate management, strategy, and finance, having served as Co-CEO and CFO at DSM-Firmenich AG until September 2023. Before DSM, she was Global CFO and a member of the Operations Council of the SGS Group in Switzerland. She has held financial auditor roles at Deloitte and KPMG and is a Certified Chartered Accountant in the UK.
