NCC Group announces Julie Chakraverty to its Board as upcoming Non-Executive Director

– UK, Manchester –  NCC Group plc (LON: NCC), the leading independent global cyber security and resilience advisor, today announced the appointment of Julie Chakraverty to its Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2022.

“Julie brings a wealth of experience in digital technology, sales and marketing, and international expansion, all of which will be invaluable to NCC Group’s future success. I am delighted to welcome her to the Board,” said Board Chair, Chris Stone.

Julie will join the Audit, Cyber Security, Nomination and Remuneration Committees.

About Julie Chakraverty

Julie Chakraverty is the CEO and founder of Rungway Limited, a workplace advice platform that empowers people to seek and share advice at work, used by leading global firms.

Julie Chakraverty has a wealth of board experience, recently serving as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Santander UK plc and Abrdn plc. She has also been Chair of the Remuneration Committee for the global insurer MS Amlin plc, a Non-Executive Director for Spirit Pub Company Limited, and a Trustee for The Girls’ Day School Trust.

During her executive career, Julie was a Board Member of UBS Investment Bank where she held several global leadership positions and won industry awards for innovation every year from 2001-2009 for her “CreditDelta” technology product.

In 2006 she was named in Management Today’s ‘Top 35 Women Under 35’ and in 2013 Julie was recognized in The Times newspaper as the youngest female director of an FTSE-100 company.
