– MONACO – Navios Maritime Acquisition Corporation (NYSE:NNA) announced today the appointment of Mrs. Eleni Warren to its Board of Directors.
Mrs. Eleni Warren, a lawyer by training, was a partner in a leading law firm in Greece practicing banking and finance. Mrs. Warren was a member of the Athens Bar for the period beginning in 1981 and ending in 2017. Mrs. Warren earned a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Athens and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Panteion University.
Commenting on Mrs. Warren’s appointment to the Board of Directors, Ms. Frangou, Chairman and CEO of Navios Maritime Acquisition Corporation, stated: “We look forward to Mrs. Warren’s contribution to our company and believe that Navios Acquisition will benefit from her significant legal and commercial experience.”
Navios Acquisition has also announced that John Koilalous, who has been appointed as a director of Navios Acquisition in June 2008, has retired. Ms. Frangou commented, “We thank Mr. Koilalous for his valuable contribution and his good service to the Company.”
