Nationwide Building Society welcomes Tamara Rajah to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, Swindon –  Nationwide Building Society (LON: NBS) today announced the appointment of Tamara Rajah to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director effective from 1 September 2020

She will be a member of both the Board IT & Resilience and Board Risk Committees.

He added: “Ensuring we have different perspectives around our Board table will strengthen our position to serve our members. Tamara’s past experiences demonstrate a strong cultural alignment with Nationwide and she will contribute to the Board’s independent judgment on the strategic direction of the Society. I’m looking forward to welcoming Tamara to the Board.”

About Tamara Rajah

Tamara has significant experience in entrepreneurial ventures and technology, including as founder and CEO of award-winning global healthcare platform Live Better With.

Prior to launching Live Better With, Tamara was one of the youngest Partners at strategy firm McKinsey & Co, where she spent a decade in the healthcare practice, and led McKinsey’s knowledge and client work on entrepreneurship and technology clusters in life sciences, digital and technology.

Tamara is also a Non-Executive Director at London & Partners, the Mayor of London’s promotional agency and is Chair of London & Partners Ventures.
