– UK, Edinburgh – Montanaro European Smaller Companies Trust Plc (LON: MTE) announced the appointment of Hillary Williams to its Board as a non-executive director effective from 6 September 2024, bringing extensive experience as a senior financial services marketing leader.
Ms Williams has also joined the Audit, Remuneration, and Nomination Committees.
About Hillary Williams
She was, until June 2023, the Global Director of Brand and Marketing of M&G PLC overseeing teams in the UK, Asia and Europe. Prior to this she was Brand and Marketing Director for Prudential UK. She joined the M&G Group from AEGON UK in 2016 where she held the position of Customer Marketing Director. She previously held Marketing Director positions at Sainsbury’s Bank and UKI Partnerships. Ms Williams was a member of Prudential’s Independent Governance Committee from 2020 to 2022 and is currently a non-executive Director on the board of The Royal Lyceum Theatre Company Limited.
