Migros Group announces Mario Irminger as next Chairman of the Executive Board (CEO)

– SWITZERLAND, Zurich –  the Federation of Migros Cooperatives (FCM) today announced the appointment of Mario Irminger as Chairman of the FCM Executive Board (CEO) on May 1, 2023,  to succeed Fabrice Zumbrunnen who will step down at the end of April 2023.

About Mario Irminger

Mario Irminger has been CEO of the Migros subsidiary Denner since 2011 where he successfully developed the Swiss discounter. Before this, he worked for almost eight years at Ernst and Young as a chartered accountant, before taking up the position of CFO for twelve years at Heineken Switzerland. In 2010, Mario Irminger took over the position of CFO at Denner, before being appointed CEO a year later.
