– UK, London – M&G plc (LON: MNG) today announces the appointment of Paul Evans to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director effective from 1 October 2024, to bring international experience of regulated risk management and governance frameworks.

Paul will also join the Audit, Risk, and Remuneration Committees.
About Paul Evans
Paul Evans is an experienced senior business leader in financial services, with deep experience in Life Insurance. He spent 17 years at AXA in a variety of senior roles in Life Insurance, Wealth, and Asset Management, including Group CEO of AXA’s Global Life, Savings, and Health businesses with responsibility for global asset management. Before joining AXA, Paul Evans spent 13 years with PwC as a Chartered Accountant.
For the past six years, Paul Evans has served as a Non-Executive Director across a comprehensive portfolio of companies. He is currently Chair of Allianz Holdings plc and Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Bupa.
