– GUERNSEY, St. Peter Port – Mercantile Ports & Logistics Limited (LON: MPL) operating and developing out port and logistics facility in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, today announced the appointment of Dmitri Tsvetkov to its Board as a Non-Executive Director, subject to the regulatory approvals.
“I am delighted to welcome Dmitri to the business. Dimitri brings considerable commercial, financial, and operational expertise of working in India and I look forward to working with him as we continue to deliver our strategy,” said Board Chairman, Jeremy Warner Allen.
Dmitri will also join the Audit Committee as Chair.
The Company also announced that Peter Mills, Non-Executive Director, is stepping down from the board with immediate effect.
About Dmitri Tsvetkov
Dmitri Tsvetkov has been the CFO of OPG Power Ventures plc since November 2017. Before joining OPG, he accumulated over 27 years of financial, accounting, and operational experience, including significant experience of working with promoter/founder-led energy sector, listed companies in London, Africa, Asia, and Canada.
Mr. Tsvetkov was previously CFO of Advance International Exploration, Inc., Interim CEO and CFO of Mart Resources, Inc., and Chief Financial Controller of Heritage Oil Plc, an FTSE 250 oil and gas company. Mr. Tsvetkov was with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Calgary, Canada, and Moscow, Russia from 1994 to 2006.
He has a Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, an FCCA designation from the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants in the UK, and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute in the US.
