– UK, London – M&C Saatchi PLC (LON: SAA) today announced the appointment of Dame Heather Rabbatts to its Board as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect, replacing Lisa Gordon who stepped down from the Board at the last AGM on 14 June 2023.
“On behalf of the Board, I am delighted Heather has agreed to join M&C Saatchi. Heather brings a wealth of non-executive experience as well as a deep understanding of our industry and will be a very valuable addition to the Board.” said acting Executive Chair, Zillah Byng-Thorne.
About Dame Heather Rabbatts
Heather Rabbatts has held several executive and non-executive roles including in local government, infrastructure, media, and sports. She holds a broad range of Non-Executive Directorship roles across companies and organizations including Associate British Foods plc, Times Up UK, and Soho Theatre. She has previously been a Non-Executive Director of Kier Group plc and Grosvenor Britain & Ireland and was the first woman on the Board of the Football Association in over 150 years.
