Management Consulting Group announces Julian Waldron as Deputy Chairman

– UK – MCG is pleased to announce the appointment of Julian Waldron as Deputy Chairman of the Company from 1 January 2014. Julian, who is 49, has been an independent Non-Executive Director of MCG since 2008. He is chief financial officer and head of strategy at Technip, the NYSE Euronext Paris listed group providing technology, project management, engineering and construction services for the oil and gas industries worldwide. Prior to joining Technip, he held senior positions at Thomson SA and UBS Warburg. He is also currently Chairman of the Engineering and Construction Risk Institute. He is a UK citizen residing in France.

Alan Barber has indicated his wish to retire from the Board on 31 December 2014 and it is intended that Julian will replace Alan as Chairman of MCG on Alan’s retirement. Julian will relinquish his chairmanship of the Audit & Risk Committee before becoming Chairman and in due course the Board will commence a process to recruit a new Non-Executive Director to replace Julian in that role.
