– UK, Royal Tunbridge Wells – M.P. Evans Group PLC (LON: MPE) today announced the appointment of current Finance Director, Matthew Coulson as chief executive, effective from 1 January 2022, replacing Peter Hadsley-Chaplin who will remain in his role as Executive Chairman.

About Matthew Coulson
Matthew Coulson joined the Group in 2016 as CFO and was promoted to finance director in 2017. During that time, he has been responsible for leading all aspects of the Group’s finance function, from treasury and financing through to governance and control. Whilst Matthew will continue in the short term to monitor and supervise the Group’s finance team, work has already begun to recruit a new Group CFO.
