Lincoln Electric announces CEO Steve Hedlund to next additionnal role as Chair of the Board of Directors

– USA, OH –  Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: LECO) announced the election of current CEO and Board member Steve Hedlund to the additional role of Chair of the Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2025, to succeed Executive Chair Chris Mapes who will retire from the Board on December 31, 2024.

About Steven B. Hedlund

Steve Hedlund became President and CEO on January 1, 2024. He has been a member of the executive leadership team since joining Lincoln Electric in 2008 and has served in various senior management roles including COO, EVP, President of Americas Welding and the International Welding segments, and President of Global Automation. Before joining Lincoln Electric, he held various leadership roles at Fortune Brands, Inc. and served as principal at Booz Allen & Hamilton.

Steve Hedlund earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Dartmouth College. He serves on the boards of the National Association of Manufacturers, the Manufacturers Alliance, and the Greater Cleveland Partnership.
