Tobias Unger is the latest addition to its high-profile list of supporters and board members. Tobias Unger was most recently CEO of Avaloq in Switzerland for three years, where he joined the company after 15 years in the banking business, both as an M&A banker and as COO of a private bank.

The appointment follows a very successful 2019 year for KYC Spider, in which sales increased by 70% following the launch of a new version of the KYC toolbox. The toolbox streamlines the KYC process for financial institutions and intermediaries, FinTechs and other regulated companies, and can reduce time and costs for KYC by up to 80%. The toolbox relies on AI-supported services for KYC/AML and reputation risk assessments, as well as a proprietary and curated database of high-risk individuals.
The platform is available both as a standalone SaaS and as a white label solution for integration or via open APIs for institutions with proprietary front-end solutions. Recently acquired customers include Zürich Versicherungen, Yapeal AG, Lykke, Kendris AG and Neocredit.ch.
