Kimberly Enterprises appoints Dov Luxenburg and Oded Shamir to Board of Directors

– NETHERLANDS / ISRAEL – At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Kimberly held earlier today, Mr Dov Luxenburg and Mr Oded Shamir have been appointed to the Board of Kimberly in place of Mr G. Raveh and Mr M. Naveh, who resigned prior to the meeting.

Mr Oded Shamir (aged 58) has been a member of the Board of Directors of Engel Resources and Development Ltd (“ERD”) (the indirect controlling shareholder of the Company) and of Engel General Developers Ltd (“EGD”), the controlling shareholder of the Company, since 12 February 2014 and was elected as the Chairman of the Board of ERD and EGD on 8 April 2014.  Mr. Shamir acts also as a member of the Board of Directors of Melisaron Ltd, a leading Israeli real estate company that specialises in the development, construction, management and leasing of industrial properties and shopping malls.  Between 2002 and 2013 Mr. Shamir acted as the CEO of Jerusalem Economic Company Ltd, one of the largest real estate companies in Israel that owns, develops and manages commercial real estate in Israel, North America, Russia, Ukraine and India.  Prior to that and in the past 22 years, Mr. Shamir has been acting as chairman of the board, board member and/or CEO of various leading real estate companies in Israel and he brings with him extensive and wide experience in the real estate industry both in Israel and other countries.

 Mr Dov Luxenburg (aged 53) has been a member of the Board of Directors of ERD and of EGD since 12 February 2014 and was appointed as the CEO of ERD as of 4 May 2014.  Between 2007 and 2012, Mr. Luxenburg acted as the CEO of Eastfield Real Estate, the real estate arm of Eastfield Group, a leading investment group in East Europe and Russia, where he was in charge, inter alia, of the execution of major real estate projects (such as hotels, shopping centres and residential projects) in Russia and Slovakia.  From 2005 until 2007, Mr. Luxenburg was the Managing Director of Atlas Estates Management, part of a real estate group that is traded in AIM and established its local presence in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania and is involved in the construction of major real estate projects such as the Hilton Warsaw, Platinum Towers in Warsaw, as well as other residential and commercial projects.  Prior to that Mr. Luxenburg was in executive positions (as CEO, managing director or CFO) at various real estate companies that were active both in Israel and abroad.  Mr. Luxenburg holds an MBA and LLM from Bar Ilan University a BA in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University and is also a CPA.
