Kerry Group announces Liz Hewitt to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– IRELAND, Tralee –  Kerry Group plc (LON: KYGA) today announced the appointment of Liz Hewitt to its Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 March 2024.

“I am delighted to welcome Liz to the Board on behalf of the Group. Liz brings with her significant and wide-ranging business leadership as well as a non-executive director and audit committee experience gained in complex multi-national listed companies. This, together with a deep understanding of global capital markets, will make her a valuable asset to the Board.” said Board Chairman, Tom Moran.

Liz Hewitt will also join the Audit Committee.

About Liz Hewitt

Liz Hewitt has over 30 years of business experience in executive and non-executive positions. She began her career with Arthur Andersen and has held various executive positions in private equity companies including 3i Group plc where she worked for over 18 years with her last position there being Director of Corporate Affairs. She more recently worked for Smith & Nephew plc as Group Director of Corporate Affairs.

Ms Hewitt holds a BSc in Economics from University College London, is a Qualified Chartered Accountant, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She has extensive audit committee experience gained during her work as a non-executive director with Novo-Nordisk A/S, National Grid plc, Melrose Industries plc, Savills plc, and Synergy Health plc.

Ms Hewitt is currently a non-executive director of National Grid plc and Glencore plc.
