Kayne Anderson Energy Infrastructure Fund appoints Holli Ladhani and Mike Mears to its Board as Independent Directors

– USA, TX –  Kayne Anderson Energy Infrastructure Fund, Inc. (NYSE: KYN) announced the appointments of Holli Ladhani and Mike Mears to its Board as independent directors effective immediately.

About Holli C. Ladhani

Holli Ladhani is an experienced executive and board director in the energy, chemicals, power, and infrastructure sectors. She served as President, CEO, and a member of the board of directors of Select Energy Services, Inc., a publicly traded provider of water management and chemical solutions to the energy industry. Before that, she was Chairman and CEO of Rockwater Energy Solutions, where she also held earlier executive roles, including CFO. Earlier in her career, Holli Ladhani served as EVP and CFO of Dynegy Inc. and began her professional journey at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Holli Ladhani serves on the boards of Quanta Services, Inc. (NYSE: PWR), AmSpec, and the forthcoming Amrize spin-off from Holcim (NYSE: AMRZ). She served on the boards of Marathon Oil, Atlantic Power, Noble Energy, and Rosetta Resources. She has also served on the Board of Trustees of Rice University since 2018.

Holli Ladhani holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University and an MBA from Rice University.

About Michael N. Mears

Mike Mears is an accomplished executive in the energy infrastructure sector and an experienced director in the energy and power sectors. He served as Chairman, President, and CEO of Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P., a publicly traded pipeline and storage company, from 2011 until his retirement in April 2022. He joined Magellan at its formation in 2002 and held several senior leadership roles, including COO and SVP of Transportation and Terminals. Before Magellan, Mike Mears held a range of management positions at Williams Pipeline Company, where he began his career in 1985.

Mike Mearsserves on the boards of Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN) and Sempra (NYSE: SRE). At Sempra, he chairs the Corporate Governance Committee and serves on the Executive and Compensation and Talent Development Committees.

Mike Mears holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
