Jubilee Metals Group appoints Tracey Kerr to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, London –  Jubilee Metals Group Plc (LON: JLP | AltX: JBL), a leader in metals processing with operations in Africa, today announced the appointment of Tracey Kerr to its Board as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

Tracey Kerr will also join the newly formed Safety and Sustainability Committee as Chair alongside Leon Coetzer, Group CEO, and Dr. Evan Kirby, Technical Director, as members.

About Tracey Kerr

Tracey Kerr was most recently Group Head of Sustainable Development at Anglo American Plc, having previously also been accountable for safety, operational risk management, and sustainable development across the Anglo-American group.

Tracey Kerr is a geologist by background having overseen global exploration programs at several large multinational corporates, including Anglo American Plc, where she held the position of Group Head of Exploration across Anglo’s exploration activities in 15 countries. Before this Ms. Kerr oversaw exploration activities in the Americas for Vale S.A., the Brazilian multinational corporation engaged in metals and mining and one of the largest logistics operators in Brazil.

Tracey, based in the UK, is currently a non-executive director of Hochschild Mining PLC, an FTSE 250 precious metal mining company with mines and development projects in the Americas. At Hochschild, Tracey is Chair of the Sustainability Committee and a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees. Tracey also participates in Hochschild’s Exploration Working Group and is the designated director for employee engagement. Until recently, Tracey served as a non-executive Director of Polymetal International Plc, a previous constituent of the FTSE 100, where she also chaired the Safety and Sustainability Committee and was a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Tracey is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy AUSIMM and is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, and the Institute of Directors.
