Journeo welcomes Barney Kent to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, Ashby-de-la-Zouch –  Journeo plc (LON: JNEO), a leading supplier of information systems, software, and services to transport operators and local authorities today announced the appointment of Barney Kent to its Board as an independent non-executive director, with immediate effect.

Prior to its $1.3 billion acquisition by a London-based private equity firm in 2022, Barney Kent spent nearly a decade at Ideagen plc, a software company supplying regulatory, compliance, and collaboration solutions to over 10,000 organizations around the world. In his role as COO, Barney led Ideagen to unprecedented growth and financial delivery. Barney has more than 20 years of experience within the technology sector and was previously CEO of Plumtree Group before joining Ideagen. Barney is a non-executive director of Sopheon plc, an AIM-quoted software company. He has a BSc (Hons) from the University of Southampton and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School.
