[ARCHIVE] Johnson Service Group announces Paul Moody as Chairman-designate

– UK – Johnson Service Group PLC – As previously announced Executive Chairman, John Talbot, had informed the Board of his intention to step down from his role with effect from 1st May 2014.

We are pleased to announce that Paul Moody, who has been a Non Executive Director of JSG since March 2010, has agreed to succeed John as Non Executive Chairman of the Board with effect from that date.  During his time with the Group Paul has gained considerable knowledge of the Textile Services business and, as a member of the Board, has been closely involved in the development of the strategy to focus resources on building our presence in this sector. Until his retirement in February 2013 Paul was CEO of Britvic plc, where he led the business through a period of significant growth delivered though a combination of domestic organic growth, geographical expansion and acquisition. Paul will continue on the board of Food Freshness Technology Holdings Limited.

John Talbot commented “I am delighted that Paul will succeed me as Chairman. As a Non-Executive Director Paul has built strong working relationships with our senior executive team and he has been an active supporter of the major strategic moves which have seen the Group focus on, and expand, its core business of textile care. Under Paul’s Chairmanship I am sure that the Group will continue to go from strength to strength.”
