– CHINA, Hong Kong – Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited (LON: JAR) announced the appointment of Ming Lu to its Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 24 February 2025.

About Ming Lu
Ming Lu is a Senior Advisory Partner of KKR, based in Hong Kong. He joined KKR in 2006 and has held a series of senior roles with the firm, including Executive Chairman, of Asia Pacific at KKR Asia Limited and a Partner of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P.
Ming Lu has played a significant role over many years in private equity investments across the Asia Pacific and, since 2018, has been playing a leadership role in KKR Asia’s growth and expansion, including serving as a member of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Committee and Asian Real Estate Investment Committee.
Ming Lu was previously a Partner at CCMP Capital Asia where he was responsible for investments in the automotive, consumer, and industrial sectors in Korea, China, Japan, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
Before joining JPMP Asia in 1999, Ming Lu was President of Asia Pacific at Lucas Varity, a leading global automotive component supplier. He also worked for Kraft Foods International Inc. and CITIC, the largest direct investment firm in China.
