– UK, Cardiff – Ironveld (LON: IRON) today announced the appointment of Dr. John Wardle (Ph.D.) to its Board as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

As well as being a supportive shareholder in the Company, John and I worked together successfully for many years at Amerisur and I know that he brings an impressive range of skills and experience to support the Executive team as we make the transition into production,” said Board Chairman, Giles Clarke.
John will also join the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
About Dr. John Wardle
Dr. John Wardle, whose first degree was in Mining Engineering followed by a Ph.D. in Microseismic Geotechnics, was most recently CEO of Amerisur Resources Plc, the AIM-listed Oil & Gas company, from 2007 to 2020 when it was acquired for approximately £242 million. Before this, John held roles with BP, Britoil, Emerald Energy, and Pebercan.
