About Dr. Marcus Remmers
Dr. Remmers is currently a partner at Novo Holdings and a member of the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network. He most recently served as CTO at DSM, a global health, nutrition, and bioscience company. He was previously VP of global head of biologics R&D and VP of global head of pharma R&D at Merial, a leading veterinary medicine company acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health in 2017. Earlier in his career, he served as country president for Intervet (later Schering-Plough Animal Health). He received degrees in chemistry from the University of Munster and the University of Freiburg and a doctorate in chemistry from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research.
