– UK, London – Intandem Films plc (AIM: IFM), the London based international film group, is delighted to announce the appointment of Guy Meyer and Timothy (Tim) Crowley as directors of the Company with immediate effect.
Guy Meyer will take the position of Non-Executive Director. He brings in-depth business acumen to the company, having run his own cross-platform marketing agency, Firebelly, for nearly 20 years as CEO. He has led numerous teams across traditional and digital media and is experienced in all aspects of business from strategy formulation, sales & marketing through to operations, finance & talent. His award-winning agency was a service provider to global companies – Disney, Harper Collins, Paramount and Universal in London and Los Angeles. He sold Firebelly in 2013 to freeform.London to concentrate on business consulting.
He has worked in Australasia, Europe & the US and has experience in diagnosing systemic issues and delivering change programmes across a wide range of businesses, working at board and middle-management levels to ensure significant ROI for clients. Guy Meyer is also part of the tutoring team at the National Film and Television School on their highly successful “Entrepreneurship and Producing for the Creative Industries” course.
Mr Crowley, joining as Executive Director, has worked as a consultant to Intandem periodically since 2012. He has helped raise funds in all placements since May 2012 and has an understanding of the operation of the Company. Mr Crowley was a local trading his own account on LIFFE and subsequently traded cash equities and equity options in the UK and US markets. It is intended that Mr Crowley’s role will include assisting the board in raising new funds.
