Inspiration Healthcare Group announces Roy Davis to join its Board as Non-Executive Director and Chairman-designate

– UK, Crawley –  Inspiration Healthcare Group plc (LON: IHC), the global medical technology company pioneering best-in-class, specialist neonatal intensive care medical devices, today announced the appointment of Roy Davis to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 25 January 2024, to succeed Mark Abrahams as Chair of the Board of Directors from 21 March 2024, when Mark Abrahams will step down from the Board.

Roy Davis will also join the Nominations Committee, to succeed Mark Abrahams as Chair of this Committee.

About Gordon Roy Davis

Roy Davis brings a wealth of commercial experience in medical device companies and has a proven track record of successfully scaling companies and delivering substantial value for shareholders. He has held leadership positions at several publicly quoted med tech companies, including CEO of Optos plc, a leading retinal imaging device manufacturer, from 2008 to 2016 until its sale to Nikon for £259m in February 2015. From 2007 to 2008, Roy was CEO of Gyrus Group plc, a leader in minimally invasive surgery and visualization, until its acquisition by Olympus Corporation in 2008 for $1.9 billion.

He is currently Non-Executive Chair at LungLife AI plc, Foster and Freeman (the trading name of the Galton group of companies), and Rair Health Ltd and was until recently, Non-Executive Chair at Medica Group plc until its acquisition by IK Partners for £269 million earlier this year.
