– MALTA, Valletta – HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. today announced the appointment of Terecina Kwong to its Board as Non-Executive Director, subject to regulatory approval, to replace Matthew Colebrook who has stepped down from the Board effective from 28 February 2022.
About Terecina Kwong
Ms. Kwong presently resides in London, United Kingdom. She started her career at the HSBC Group via the Hong Kong Management Associate Programme in 2000. She has held several senior positions within HSBC including Global Head of Channels Distribution, Global Commercial Banking Chief Risk and Administration Officer, Global Control Office COO and Head of Centre of Excellence, Group Head of Operational Management, and COO at HSBC China. She is currently COO, HSBC Europe, and a Non-Executive Director of HSBC Armenia.
In 1997 she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Economics) from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. In 1999 she graduated with a Master of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She also graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Law from the University of London and is a Fellow CPA, CPA Australia.
