– UK, London – Howden Joinery Group PLC (LON: HWDN) today announced the appointment of Vanda Murray to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 1 February 2024.
Vanda Murray will join the Audit, Remuneration, Nominations, and Sustainability Committees, and additionally will take on the role of Chair of the Remuneration Committee from 2 May 2024.
The company also announced that Karen Caddick will step down from the Board at the end of the AGM on 2 May 2024.
About Vanda Murray
Vanda Murray has over 20 years of senior management experience across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, industrial, and support services in Europe, the USA, and Asia. She was previously CEO of Blick Plc and the UK Managing Director of Ultrafame Plc. Vanda Murray is currently the Chair of Marshalls Plc and the Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Bunzl Plc. In 2002, she was also awarded an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for Services to Industry and Export.
