– USA, VA – Hooker Furnishings Corp. (NASDAQ: HOFT) today announced the election of Lead Independent Director, Henry Williamson as Chairman of the Board of Directors, succeeding Paul Toms who is retiring as Chairman of the Board, effective immediately.
Henry Williamson retired COO of Truist Financial Corp. has been a director since 2004 and Independent Lead Director since June 2016.
With Toms’ departure, the Board goes from 9 to 8 members, including:

- Henry Williamson, Chairman;
