– USA, MA – Harvard Bioscience, Inc. (Nasdaq: HBIO) announced the appointments of Rob Gagnon and Seth Benson to its Board as Independent Directors, effective July 16, 2025, while current Board member John Duke will assume the role of President and CEO, succeeding Jim Green, who will retire effective July 28, 2025.
John Duke is a member of the Board of Directors of Harvard Bioscience and CEO of Plastic Molding Technology, a leading supplier of plastic components, where he drove strong performance, achieving approximately 20% annual revenue growth during his tenure. Before joining PMT, Mr. Duke served as EVP and CBO of Lyten, Inc., a manufacturer of advanced materials, and before that, spent over 20 years in roles of increasing responsibility at Corning Incorporated, including ten years in Corning’s Life Sciences division.
John Duke earned a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Utah and an MBA from Harvard University.

Rob Gagnon has more than 20 years of experience leading global finance operations in the life sciences industry and is an experienced public company board member with deep knowledge of Harvard Bioscience’s business, having served as the CFO of Harvard Bioscience from 2013-2018.

Rob Gagnon has more than 20 years of leadership experience in finance, ttechnology and operations, which includes significant time spent in life science tools. He is currently the CFO of Nuclera Ltd and previously served as the CFO of Vizgen, Inc. and VP, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations of Akoya Biosciences.
