– UK, Bristol – Hargreaves Lansdown plc (LON: HL) today announced the appointment of Michael Morley to its Board as an Independent Non-executive Director effective from 01 August 2023, to bring extensive financial services and risk expertise, strategic thinking, governance, and regulatory experience combined with strong leadership skills.
“The Board is delighted to welcome Michael to HL plc. Michael will further strengthen the Group Board with his deep knowledge of financial services and his executive experience in wealth management.” said Board Chair, Deanna Oppenheimer.
Michael Morley will also join the Remuneration and Risk Committees.

Michael Morley is a Non-Executive Director of Deutsche Bank SAEU in Spain and Deutsche Bank (Suisse) SA in Switzerland. Previously he has held several executive roles,s including as CEO of UK Wealth Management for Deutsche Bank, CEO of Coutts & Co, and CEO of Singer & Friedlander Investment Management Ltd, as well as senior positions at Barclays Bank PLC and Merrill Lynch.
