– UK, London – Hamak Gold Limited (LON: HAMA), a company combining traditional gold exploration in West Africa with a Digital Asset Treasury Management strategy, announced the appointment of Nicola Horlick to its Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Nicola Horlick will also join the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee.
About Nicola Horlick
Nicola Horlick is a prominent figure in the UK investment industry, with over 35 years of experience in institutional fund management, corporate governance, and financial innovation. She has been described in the British media as the “City superwoman” due to her high-profile career and pioneering success in leading major asset management businesses.
Nicola Horlick began her career at S.G. Warburg before moving to Morgan Grenfell Investment Management, where she became Managing Director and oversaw the management of multi-billion-pound institutional portfolios. Over the following five years, funds under management quadrupled.
In 2004, Nicola Horlick founded Bramdean Asset Management, specialising in alternative investments and private equity, and 2013, founded Money&Co., a fintech lending platform focused on providing capital to UK SMEs from institutional and private investors. Nicola continues to serve as CEO of Money&Co. and remains active in the financial services sector, with board-level roles across multiple private companies.
Her deep experience spans equities, fixed income, private capital, alternative assets, and retail and institutional fund distribution. She brings extensive boardroom knowledge and regulatory insight, having served in both executive and non-executive capacities, including as Chair and Committee Member of regulated financial services firms.
Nicola Horlick holds a degree in Jurisprudence from Balliol College, Oxford, and has consistently championed innovation, transparency, and diversity in the investment industry.
