Grainger announces Michael Brodtman to join its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Newcastle Upon Tyen –  Grainger plc (LON: GRI), the UK’s largest listed residential property company, today announced the appointment of Michael Brodtman to its Board as a non-executive director effective on 1 January 2023.

Michael is a well-known senior figure in the UK real estate sector, having had a lengthy and successful career at CBRE, holding various senior leadership positions, most recently as Chairman of CBRE’s UK advisory arm. Michael brings extensive experience in real estate investment to Grainger’s board.” said Board chairman, Mark Clare.

About Michael Brodtman

Michael Brodtman was Chairman of the UK advisory arm of CBRE, having spent a 40-year career at the agency. He led its valuation and operational real estate departments, growing specialist teams in emerging sectors and internationally. He moved into the role of chairman in January 2020 and retired on 30 June 2022.

Michael Brodtman has also held a non-executive director position at Places for People, the housing association, from 2016 to 2019, and is currently a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Trustee of Jewish Care, the health and social welfare charity serving London’s Jewish community.
