Gore Street Energy Storage Fund announces Lisa Scenna to join its Board as Independent Director

– UK, London –  Gore Street Energy Storage Fund PLC (LON: GSF), London’s first listed energy storage fund supporting the transition to low carbon power, today announced the appointment of Lisa Scenna to its board as a new independent non-executive director, effective from 1 May 2023.

“Lisa is an excellent candidate, and we are delighted she has accepted to join the board. As the Company approaches its fifth anniversary, and in light of GSF’s growth since IPO, the remuneration and nomination committee felt it was appropriate to broaden and deepen the skills, qualifications, and experience of the board as a whole.” said Board Chair, Pat Cox.

Lisa Scenna will also join the audit committee, the management engagement committee, and the remuneration and nomination committee.

About Lisa Scenna

Lisa Scenna is an experienced executive and non-executive director in listed and private sector organizations across real estate, infrastructure, construction, and funds management industries in the UK, Europe, Australia, Canada, and the Middle East. Lisa has held sector-specific executive roles in the property, infrastructure, and fund management sectors with Stockland and Westfield in Australia, and Laing O’Rourke and Morgan Sindall Group in the UK. She is currently a non-executive director with Cromwell Property Group (ASX: CMW), Genuit Group plc (LSE: GEN), and Harworth Group plc (LSE: HWG), as well as an Advisory Board Member of Stories Partners. Lisa has previously been a non-executive director for the charity, Hub Community Foundation and Deputy Chair for The Private Infrastructure Development Group, an infrastructure platform investing in infrastructure on behalf of various government agencies including the UK and Australia. Lisa is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
