Gear4music welcomes Harriet Williams to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, York –  Gear4music Holdings plc (LON: G4M), the largest UK based online retailer of musical instruments and music equipment, today announced the appointment of Harriet Williams to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Director, effective on 1st January 2021.

About Harriet Williams

Harriet has spent the last 18 years working in the retail sector for some of the world’s leading consumer brands, where she has led eCommerce and omnichannel sales, marketing, strategy and business development initiatives in the UK and internationally. Harriet is currently VP, Global Ecommerce at the LEGO Group. Between 2015 and 2018, Harriet was Chief Digital Officer at The Body Shop, where she played an integral role in the sale of the business in 2017 by L’Oreal to Natura. Harriet’s other previous roles include working at Gucci, Debenhams and strategy consultants Marakon Associates.

Harriet has also, in recent years, worked as an Independent Advisor to several start-up businesses and, in 2019 and 2020, she was voted Top 50 Customer Experience Leaders by Marketing Week.
