– USA, MA – FLEXcon, an innovator in adhesive coating and laminating, today announced the appointment of Jodi Sawyer, Market Development Specialist, to the board of directors of Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP).
The addition of a FLEXcon employee to SGP’s board of directors further cements the company’s commitment to increasing awareness of sustainable printing, and will allow FLEXcon to help guide the organization’s future.

The mission of the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership is to encourage and promote participation in the worldwide movement to reduce environmental impact and increase social responsibility in the graphic communications industry through certification and continuous improvement of sustainability and best practices within manufacturing operations. SGP educates and recognizes printers for their sustainability efforts. The board of directors carries out the objectives and purposes of SGP and helps lead the direction of the organization, including SGP Community Day.
FLEXcon recently renewed its Platinum sponsorship of SGP – the highest level of sponsorship available. Sawyer has been involved with SGP for two years, and has more than 25 years of experience in the self-adhesive materials industry. As a market development specialist for FLEXcon’s Product Branding Business Team, she collaborates with customers and industry co-suppliers to develop and deliver products that respond to their market needs. In addition, she has direct involvement with brand owners, ad specifiers and OEMs to address the needs and opportunities in the marketplace. Sawyer has also participated in speaking engagements at tradeshows and industry conferences, including SGP Community Day.
