Ferrexpo appoints Ann-Christin Andersen to its Board as Independent Director

– SWITZERLAND, Baar –  Ferrexpo Plc (LON: FXPO) today announced the appointment of Ann-Christin Andersen to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective from 1 March 2021.

About Ann-Christin Andersen

Ann-Christin Andersen is an engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, having held management positions in ABB, the Kongsberg Group, and most recently, TechnipFMC, where she served as Chief Digital Officer, Managing Director of TechnipFMC Norway, as well as holding SVP and VP roles for Projects and Products during her time there. In 2019 she founded 4ADA AS, a strategic advisory service, supporting start-ups within the renewable energy and circular economy sectors, and consulted on policy changes in areas such as offshore wind, the energy transition, and industrial digitalization.

Since 2020, Ms. Andersen has served as Chair of the Board of Glitre Energi AS, a local government-owned firm in Norway specializing in renewable energy and infrastructure, having been appointed as a director in 2015. Ms. Anderson is also a member of the Compensation Committee of Glitre Energi AS and has previously served on this firm’s Audit Committee. She has also been a Non-executive Director of Maersk Drilling since 2020, a firm operating in the oil and gas sector where she is also a member of this firm’s committee for safety and sustainability. Also, Ms. Andersen has served on the board of Quantafuel since 2019, and Rotork Plc since 2018, with positions at Rotork Plc on the Remuneration and Audit Committees and Chair of the Environmental, Social, and Governance Committee.
