– USA, PA – Evoqua Water Technologies LLC today announced that Ronald C. Keating has been named Chief Executive Officer, and will be appointed a member of the Board of Directors effective December 1. He joins the company from Contech Engineered Solutions LLC, where he has been President and CEO. At Evoqua, Mr. Keating succeeds Gary Cappeline, Interim CEO and AEA Investors LP Operating Partner.
Mr. Cappeline commented, “We were very selective in our approach to filling this role and I have utmost confidence in the leadership Ron will bring to the Evoqua team.” Following a short transition period, Mr. Cappeline will remain on the Evoqua Board.

Mr. Keating will be located at Evoqua’s headquarters which is being moved from Alpharetta, GA to Warrendale, PA also effective December 1.

Mr. Keating comes to Evoqua from Contech Engineered Solutions LLC, which is owned by private equity, serving for six years as President and Chief Executive Officer and one year as Chief Operating Officer before that. Prior to Contech, Ron filled various senior leadership roles at both Kennametal Inc. and Ingersoll-Rand Inc. Ron earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M.
