[ARCHIVE] Eurocell announces Mark Kelly as upcoming CEO

– UK, Alfreton – Eurocell plc (LSE:ECEL), a market leading, vertically integrated UK manufacturer and distributor of innovative window, door and roofline PVC products, today announces that Patrick Bateman (63) has advised the board of his decision to retire from his role as Chief Executive and to step down from the board and leave the Company on 30 June 2016. The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Kelly (55), as its next Chief Executive.

Mark is currently Chief Executive of Grafton Merchanting GB, a subsidiary of Grafton Group plc, a position he has held since 2012. He joined Grafton from BDR Thermea where he was CEO in the UK. Prior to this, Mark held a range of senior positions at IMI, Novar and Mars UK. This included experience of the uPVC windows and doors industry when he worked at Caradon-owned Celuform and Duraflex. It is anticipated that Mark will join Eurocell, full time, on March 29th this year and formally take up his new role as Chief Executive on 1st July 2016, allowing a customary handover period with Patrick before his well-earned retirement.
