EnQuest announces Rosalind Kainyah to join its Board of Directors

– UK, London –  EnQuest PLC (LON: ENQ) today announced the appointment of Rosalind Kainyah MBE to its Board of Directors effective from 30 May 2024.

“I am thrilled to welcome Rosalind to EnQuest and look forward to working with her over the coming years. Her experience and expertise will, I’m sure, prove to be extremely beneficial to the Company as it continues its journey through the energy transition,” said Board Chairman, Gareth Penny.

Rosalind Kainyah will join the Remuneration Committee as Chair.

EnQuest also announced that Liv Monica Stubholt and Rani Koya would step down from the Board at the AGM. Additionally, Executive Director and CEO of Veri Energy, Salman Malik, will be stepping down from the Board to devote his time to Veri Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EnQuest.

Rosalind Kainyah has over 30 years of international, legal, operational, executive,e, and board experience in a variety of sectors, including energy, oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, private equity, financial service, and manufacturing. She has worked across Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the South Pacific for companies and organizations, including Linklaters, Anglo American, De Beers, Tullow Oil plc, the United Nations Environment Programme, University of Oxford’s Environmental Change Unit, and ERM.

Rosalind Kainyah is the founder and director of Kina Advisory Limited, and also a non-executive director of discoverIE plc, Gem Diamonds Limite,d and WE Soda, a private company.
