– UK, London – Energean PLC (LON: ENOG | TASE: ENOG) today announced the appointment of Martin Houston to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Martin Houston will also join the Remuneration & Talent Committee and the Audit & Risk Committee.
The company also announced the appointment of current Non-Executive Director Andrew Bartlett as Senior Independent Director.

About Martin Houston
Martin Houston has 44 years of experience across the entire oil & gas value chain. As COO and Director of BG Group plc he was instrumental in the creation and development of a globally integrated natural gas, LNG and trading group. In recognition of his achievements in global LNG, he was the first recipient of the CWC LNG Executive of the Year award (2011). He has since co-founded Tellurian Inc. and is now the vice-chairman. In February 2018 he was appointed by global investment bank, Moelis and Company as Chairman of its global energy group. Martin is also a non-executive director of private E&P company CC Energy and of Bupa Arabia, a Saudi-listed healthcare company. He was previously the Chair of EnQuest plc.
