– UK, Luton – easyJet plc (LON: EZJ) announced the appointment of Elyes Mrad toits Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 June 2025.
Elyes Mrad will also join the Audit Committee.
The company also announced that Dr. Detlef Trefzger will step down from the Board on 1 June 2025.
About Elyes Mrad
Elyes Mrad is EVP, Hertz International, where he oversees the company’s business in EMEA, Latam and Asia Pacific. Before joining Hertz, he held Managing Director roles at Certares, a leading private equity firm focused on the hospitality and travel industry, and American Express Global Business Travel. He has also held senior positions with Sita, JTI, and Rolex, and currently serves as Chair of the Board for Zytlyn Technologies AG, an AI-powered travel data and analytics platform. Elyes is based in Geneva, Switzerland, and is a Swiss national.
