discoverIE Group welcomes Celia Baxter to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Guildford –  discoverIE Group plc (LON: DSCV), a leading international designer and manufacturer of customized electronics to industry, today announced the appointment of Celia Baxter to its Board as a Non-Executive Director, effective from 1 June 2023.

About Celia Baxter

Celia Baxter brings many years of senior management, executive, and board experience in several FTSE 250 and FTSE100 companies. In particular, she has a good understanding of industrial businesses that have grown by acquisition. She spent her executive career in Human Resources, starting with Ford Motor Company and then KPMG, before moving on to Tate & Lyle plc, Enterprise Oil, and Hays plc. More recently, at Bunzl plc, she was a member of the Executive Committee responsible for HR and sustainability.

Celia Baxter is a Non-Executive Director & Chair of the Remuneration Committee of DS Smith Plc and Senior Independent Director and Remuneration Committee Chair of Dowlais Group plc. Until April 2023, she was the Senior Independent Director and Remuneration Committee Chair of Senior plc. Previously, she was a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of RHI Magnesita NV and a Non-Executive Director of Bekaert NV.
