Direct Line Insurance announces Non-Executive Director Danuta Gray as next Chair of the Board of Directors

– UK, Bromley –  Direct Line Insurance Group plc (LON: DLG) today announced that, following a full search process, its board has selected Danuta Gray, Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee, to succeed Mike Biggs as Chair with effect from 4 August 2020.

About Danuta Gray

Danuta is currently also Chair of St. Modwen Properties PLC, Senior Independent Director of Aldermore Group plc and a Non-Executive Member of the Defence Board of the UK Ministry of Defence. She is a former non-executive director of Old Mutual Group plc, PageGroup plc and Paddy Power Betfair plc. Her executive career in the telecommunications sector culminated in her appointment as Chief Executive and subsequently Executive Chairman of Telefónica O2 Ireland.
