Deere welcomes Neil Hunn to its Board as Independent Director

– USA, IL –  Deere & Company (NYSE: DE) today announced the election of Neil Hunn to its Board as a new Independent Director, increasing the Board to 12 members, of whom 11 are independent.

About Neil Hunn

Neil Hunn currently serves as President and CEO of Roper Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROP), a constituent of the Fortune 1000 and one of the largest application software companies in the S&P 500.

Neil Hunn joined Roper in 2011 as a group VP and later became EVP and COO. He was named to his present position in 2018. Earlier in his career, he served in executive roles with medical software and other technology companies. He is a member of the Business Roundtable and U.S. Business Council.

A Georgia native, Neil Hunn earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
