Cross Country Healthcare announces John Martins as next CEO alongside Kevin Clark stepping to Chairman of its Board of Directors

– USA, FL –  Cross Country Healthcare, Inc. (NASDAQ: CCRN), a market-leading workforce solutions tech-enabled staffing, recruitment, and advisory firm, today announced the upcoming transition of Co-Founder and CEO Kevin Clark to the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective March 31, 2022.

Concurrently, John Martins, Group President, Delivery, will be promoted to President and CEO and appointed to the Board of Directors.

Thomas Dircks who has served as the Board Chairman since 2013, will continue to serve as an independent director of the Board of Directors.

About John A. Martins

John Martins brings nearly 20 years of healthcare leadership experience to the role of President and CEO and has worked alongside Clark for the last 12 months, playing an instrumental part in defining the company’s long-term strategic direction. Martins has held senior leadership positions with several of the nation’s largest healthcare staffing providers including AMN Healthcare Services, and Aya Healthcare Inc. Before joining AMN and Aya, Martins served as President at Onward Healthcare and in various other positions from February 2008 to January 2015, where he reported to Clark who was Onward Healthcare’s Co-Founder and CEO.
