– UK, Maidenhead – Costain Group PLC (LON: COST) today announced the appointment of Neil Crockett to its Board as an independent non-executive director with effect from 6 October 2021.
“We are delighted that Neil is joining the Board. He brings a passion and expertise in using digital innovation to lead engineering teams and organisations through rapid transformational change.” said Board Chair, Dr Paul Golby.
Neil will also join the audit, remuneration, and nomination committees.
About Neil Crockett
Neil Crockett held several global, European and UK leadership positions with Cisco Systems and was Chief Digital Officer at Rolls-Royce from 2016 to 2018 where, in partnership with business unit leaders, he accelerated the development of the group’s digital strategy. Neil also has strong experience of the wider UK digital innovation community and was the founding CEO of Digital Catapult, a UK Government-funded digital innovation organization.
Neil is also a member of the Board of Trustees and chair of the risk committee at Barnardo’s and a non-executive director of Catalyst, a not-for-profit organization accelerating innovation and growth in the Northern Ireland knowledge economy. Neil is a member of the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise Innovation category panel.
